Craig Austin

–

Willingboro, New Jersey

We gather here in the spirit of laughter and love, the way Craig Austin would have wanted. Born on August 31, 1958, in Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. Craig entered into this world with an innate sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and an uncanny ability to fashion a tune from thin air. As Mark Twain once said, "The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter," Craig made it his mission to wield this weapon with the finesse of a seasoned warrior.

In his life, Craig was many things: a loving father, a creative soul, a charmer, a retail worker. His talent was as vast as his love for life. He could make a room full of frowns turn upside down with his jokes, and his love for music was nothing short of magic. The smile on his face while playing an instrument was the very definition of happiness. He was a funny man and all that came in contact with him experienced this with all the jokes he told.

Craig leaves behind a melody of love and laughter that will echo in the hearts of his children, Diana, Krystal, and Mikey Austin, as well as his grandchildren, siblings, and host of family members. He joins his parents, James Austin II and Irene Greenidge, who await him with smiles and open arms, perhaps ready for a hearty laugh.

So, let us remember Craig not with sadness, but with the joy and laughter he instilled in us. Let’s keep his spirit alive by sharing our favorite memories and photos of him on his memorial page. Let us continue to laugh, love, and live the way Craig did. Because, after all, isn't that what he would've wanted?
