John Sim

John Sim was born on January 24, 1940, in the Bronx, New York and passed away on June 23, 2026. He was an avid pin collector from his many trips to various state parks and travels. John was a lifelong fan of the Yankees. He also umpired girls softball games for a number of years and lifeguarded in Manasquan when he was young. John, made his home in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, where he spent his retirement years and was a beloved member of the Seabrook Bridge Club.

John is survived by his daughters, Mary Sim and Lynda Reven, his sons, Matthew (Hayley) Sim and Robert (Shari) Sim, his brother, Nick Sim, his grandchildren, Casey Reven, Griffin Sim, and Julianne Sim. He is also survived by his partner, Alice Mellen. John was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Emily Sim.
