Lacey Township, New Jersey
With deep love and respect, we bid farewell to Lillian Lynch, a woman whose spirit was as vibrant as the city where she was born, Brooklyn, New York, on the 10th of January, 1931. Known for her intelligence, resilience, wit, and love, Lillian was a beacon of light to all who were blessed to know her. As a dedicated caregiver in the home healthcare industry, she used her innate wisdom and compassion to improve the quality of life for countless individuals. Her passion for her work was only surpassed by the love she held for her family, whom she cherished above all else.
Lillian moved to Lacey Township, New Jersey 30 years ago, where she made a loving home full of laughter and wisdom. Even in her retirement, she continued to nurture, bringing comfort and joy to those around her. As a testament to her strength of character, she found joy in the face of adversity, and love in the simplest of moments. Her life was a beautiful example of the words by Maya Angelou, "I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it."
Lillian was the adored mother of Kathy Thomas, Lilly Ballance, James Lynch, Patty Sisselman and Joseph Lynch, and the cherished grandmother of Sara Sisselman, Julie Marshall, Katie Jenkins, Colleen Tromsdroff, Danny Ballance, James Ballance, and Jeff Ballance. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Lynch, and her parents, Joseph and Mae Ecock.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Pius X Catholic Church, 300 Lacey Road, Lacey Township, New Jersey, 08731 on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 10:00 amEDT. Following the service, Lillian will be laid to rest at St Mary's Parish Cemetery, Beachview Avenue, Stafford Township, New Jersey, 08050 at 11:45 amEDT.
Let us remember Lillian not with sadness, but with gratitude for having known such a remarkable woman. We invite you to share your memories of Lillian, and upload photos to the memorial page, as a celebration of her life and the lasting impact she has had on us all.
