Robbie Russo

With a heart full of love and respect, we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, Robbie Russo, who left us on June 24, 2026. An embodiment of charisma and wit, Robbie was born on April 27, 1969, in Hackensack, NJ, USA, originally bearing the last name Bogusz. He was a bright beacon of ambition and talent, whose luminous spirit will forever shine in our memories.

Robbie was a proud graduate of the Class of 2009 from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. His talent as a DJ was undeniable, where many fans knew him as "DJ Robbie" or "The Ripper". For 15 years, Robbie passionately broadcasted on LiveAndLoudRadio.com, where he showcased his exceptional ability to connect with artists and audiences alike. His remarkable talent led him to recruit some of his favorite artists from around the world to collaborate with him on his radio shows. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robbie took immense pleasure in dressing up for a night on the town, enjoying the Jersey Shore, and of course attending concerts. He was a familiar sight at events all along the shore and up to New York City, especially the Bowery, whether he was working or simply reveling in the music.

Despite his fulfilling career, what mattered most to Robbie were his children. He was a loving father to Aidan, Kyla, and Dante Russo. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Judith Moore, and his cousin, Joe DeProspo. Robbie is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bogusz, and his beloved grandparents, Constance and Edwin Jacobs. As we mourn Robbie's departure, we find solace in the verse from the Book of Matthew (5:4), "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
